UNFOLLOWED GUIDES
How to see who unfollowed you on X (Twitter)
Updated October 4, 2026 · By the Unfollowed team
Understand what an unfollow tracker can show, when tracking starts, and why Unfollowed cannot recover past unfollows.
What can Unfollowed show?
Unfollowed records new unfollow events received from X after you activate monitoring. Each entry can show the account’s name, handle, and the event time supplied by X. You can search the activity list and filter it by Today, This week, This month, or All time.
“All time” means the history recorded by Unfollowed. It does not mean your account’s entire history on Twitter.
How to start tracking
- Choose Continue with X and authorize the account you want to monitor.
- Open Connections. If you want messages, connect Telegram before starting monitoring.
- Choose Start monitoring, or Connect X activity if you previously disconnected the account.
- Once monitoring is active, return to Activity to see new events. Use Refresh to update the list.
Can I find an unfollow that already happened?
No. Unfollowed does not import a historical unfollower list or reconstruct events from before you activated monitoring. Connecting today will not identify who left yesterday.
Is this a list of people who don’t follow me back?
No. An unfollow event tells you that a previously following account stopped following you. Someone who never followed you is not an unfollower. Unfollowed does not provide a list of non-mutual follows or tools to unfollow accounts.
What does the free allowance include?
Your first five alerts are free. The allowance covers five received unfollow events per account, including events received when Telegram is disconnected. It does not reset each month or when you reconnect. See the free allowance FAQ for current availability.
Why might the activity list be empty?
Check that monitoring is active in Connections, that you have alerts remaining, and that your Activity filters include the period you want. There may simply be no new events. X or service outages can also delay or prevent events from arriving, so an empty list is not proof that nobody unfollowed you.
